Surgery

We received word from the pediatric cardiac surgery team. Emma will have surgery to close her PDA tomorrow morning at 8:30. Please be praying accordingly. Dave & I will be heading up to the hospital early tomorrow morning to spend some time with Emma before her surgery.

  1. Almighty God - protect Emma during surgery - for each concern, I ask for protection...keep infection, complications and set-backs from her precious body. Guide the hands of the surgeon and grant alertness and wisdom to each team member. Calm Abi and Dave's spirits as they trust You to care for their precious daughter. I know NOTHING is too difficult for you. Thank you Lord God Almighty.

  3. Good luck tomorrow. My husband and I friends of the Wiersmas and met while our babies were in the NICU. Two of our three also needed surgery to close their PDAs. We'll be praying for Emma tomorrow. We will continue to follow your girls amazing journeys.

  5. Dave & Abi, This morning my first thoughts were about Emma. I am praying for you to have peace and that God is close to you,he is holding Emma in his hands. We have seen many miracles, God is so good. I trust in his power and love for you and your girls. He is a God were all things are possible. May his holy spirit be with you, the Drs and nurses, all the people who care for Adalyn and Emma. "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD". Psalm 31:24
